Today at 2pm the annual family christmas party was held at the United Methodist Church hall.  This year over 100 family members turned out to celebrate the holiday together and hang out with Santa for a little while.  This years entertainment (run by the Gillespies) was the building of gingerbread houses which not only involved the kids, but members also got involved.  A very large number of gingerbread creations were created and only some survived the force of gravity after a short period of time.  Our own Curt Robinson provided the tunes, Santa provided the gifts and the Pugliese family provided the home cookin'.  A great time was had by all, and none of the kids went home disappointed by Santa Claus.  Thank you to Pastor Joe and his holiday party team, who once again put together a great event.  Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
