At around 19:00hrs Nichols was dispatched to a reported car fire on Pepperidge Road. Nichols 3 was first on scene and reported a car with the engine compartment well involved. Rescue 300 arrived and stretched an 1.75 line to make a quick knock down of the fire.  2nd due Quint 303 was instructed upon to grab tools and assist with overhaul/opening the vehicle hood.

Units cleared the scene in approximately 30 minutes.
